Welcome!

My name is Ms. Montenegro, and I am absolutely thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year! I have the privilege of teaching the Special Day Class (SDC) for grades 4-6, and I am eagerly anticipating a year filled with growth—socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Together, we will embark on an exciting journey of learning and discovery.

I believe in setting high expectations for all of my students, and I am committed to helping each child reach their full potential. I know that every child is capable of achieving great things, and I am here to provide the support, guidance, and encouragement they need to succeed.

In order for your child to thrive, I encourage you to take an active role in their education. Your involvement at home can make a world of difference. Whether it’s reviewing assignments, reading together, or simply talking about their day, your support plays a vital role in their academic and personal growth. Parental involvement is truly the key to their success, and I deeply value our partnership in this journey.

Clear communication is also essential to a positive and successful parent-teacher relationship.
