PUPIL SERVICES AND ATTENDANCE COUNSELOR

      Greetings Lillian Street School Elementary families! My name is Suceli Diaz, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new PSA Counselor at Lillian Street Elementary School. I will be on campus every Monday and Tuesday and I am looking forward to partnering with all of you to support our students this year.

      I’m deeply committed to education and helping remove the barriers that may prevent students from attending school regularly and reaching their full potential. I look forward to collaborating with all of you to ensure a positive and supportive environment for our students to thrive. This year will be full of attendance incentives and celebrations so keep an eye out for the updates and remember that our Attendance Goal is to have no more than 7 absences all school year (no more than 1 absence every 25 days)! Attendance habits are formed at an early age and will continue throughout children’s educational and career journeys, which is why it is crucial for us to help build good habits now.

Please submit an absence note within 10 school days. 3 uncleared/unexcused absences count towards truancy and automatically generate the 1st Notification of Truancy.
